Well… after several years of long hair, the time has come to cut it off. This is actually the second time I had long hair and cut it. The first time was when I was in college. Before I started student teaching I figured it might be a good idea for it to be short. After I joined the band Moby Dick, I guess all the hair metal tunes we were playing got to my head. Literally!
So, after many months of saying I was going to do it, I finally did. Actually, I think it took me over a year to finally do it. It’s one of those things that took years to grow and only minutes to cut. The funny thing is that now that it’s done, I wish I’d done it a lot sooner. I saved the braids (no not for a cat toy) but I plan to donate it soon.
I like to offer a special thanks to Robert Rainbow for the photos. We went to Barnsley Gardens in GA (the same place some of my CD pictures were taken) for the photo shoot.
