On a mild winter day in Georgia I went with photographer friend of mine, Joe Schlicht, to Raven Cliff Falls in the North Georgia Mountains. Along the trail we stopped at these smaller waterfalls for a photo shoot. Joe has been here before and said these falls are more photogenic than the main falls.
One challenge to shooting waterfalls is trying to get a good exposure without the water looking blown out. I also wanted to get the motion blur effect of the water which I achieved with about a 2 second exposure. The overcast weather made for the perfect environment to get this shot.
