I’m very excited to announce that my CDs are done! I used Disc Makers to help replicate my CD.
In case you’re wondering, a replication is different than a duplication. Replicated discs are made from a press where a master image of the CD audio is created then “pressed” into the CD material. Duplicated discs are burned to a CD-R using a CD burner like the one in your computer. The biggest advantage to replicated discs is that they last a lot longer.
So now my dining room is full of CDs, soon to be shipped to my distributors, and the rest waiting for their big release on September 1st, 2011.
